Calculator data

Times, breaks, dates, hourly rates, and results are processed locally on your device. HourSimple does not send those values to a server for calculation.

Browser storage

The site may use localStorage to remember your theme, time-display preference, and recent calculator or timesheet values. This data stays in your browser. You can reset an individual calculator, clear saved calculator data from its controls, or clear site data in your browser.

Measurement

When analytics is enabled, HourSimple may record broad events such as viewing a calculator, completing a calculation, adding a break, copying a result, or opening a related tool. Event data is limited to categorical details such as the calculator, engine, locale, period length, or display format.

Analytics events never include exact clock times, timesheet rows, date entries, wage amounts, names, notes, or copied result text. The analytics provider and its script are controlled by the site’s central deployment configuration and are inactive when not configured.

Advertising and consent

HourSimple is designed to be supported by display advertising. Ad scripts and reserved ad spaces are disabled by default. If advertising is enabled later, the chosen provider may use cookies or similar technologies under its own privacy terms.

The code can wait for an external consent platform before loading analytics or ad scripts. The exact notices, choices, and regional behavior must be configured for the providers and places where the site operates; this page does not claim that a consent setup is automatically sufficient everywhere.
